Unlicensed prohibited driver:

The Kitimat RCMP received a report of a driver that was operating a vehicle in a manner that made the complainant believe the driver was possibly intoxicated on April 11th. A description of the vehicle was provided and the investigating officer was able to find the vehicle and conduct a traffic stop. A breath sample was provided and it was found the driver had consumed alcohol before driving, however, it was below the limit to be considered impaired driving. As the officer confirmed the drivers license information, it was found the driver’s drivers license was invalid and they were to be served documents for being an Unlicensed Prohibited driver. The documents were served and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days. (2024-1216)
