In the evening of June 27th, Quadra RCMP received a report of a break and enter at a Salmon farm site in the Oskillo channel between Quadra Island and Sonora Island. The incident occurred sometime in the two weeks before it was reported on June 27th. The cost of damage and stolen property is estimated to be over $100,000. Suspects stole two Kubota Model V1505 generators (weighing approximately 1000 pounds each) as well as a significant amount of wiring and plumbing. The theft would have taken significant time and tools to complete. RCMP Forensic Investigation services have been assisting the Quadra Island RCMP, and the investigation is on-going.
