BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit assisting Terrace RCMP with homicide investigation

On Sunday November 26, 2023, Terrace RCMP responded to a report of a homicide outside a residence in the 3000 block of Clinton Street in Terrace. A youth was located deceased at the scene. Another youth was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

One youth was arrested in connection with this investigation and has been released from custody. No charges have been approved by BC Prosecution Services at this time.

Investigators do not believe that there is an ongoing threat to the community. Currently, police are not releasing further information to protect the integrity of the investigation.

ND MCU has taken conduct of this investigation and is asking anyone with information regarding the investigation to contact the Terrace RCMP Detachment at (250) 638-7400.
