RCMP seeking public assistance after cyclist struck by vehicle
The Sidney/North Saanich RCMP are investigating a serious collision involving a bicyclist and a vehicle at the intersection of West Saanich Road and Willingdon Road in North Saanich.
On the afternoon of October 18, 2021, at approximately 3:45pm, the Sidney/North Saanich RCMP received a report of a serious collision involving a single vehicle which had struck a cyclist near the intersection of West Saanich Road and Willingdon Road.
Local RCMP officers, fire fighters, and BC Ambulance workers attended to render assistance. The cyclist suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision. The driver who remained on scene has been identified by police.
Local RCMP officers, in consultation with the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Team are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
