Police investigating suspicious vehicle fire

The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is looking for witnesses and video, following a fire on the North Shore last night.
Around 9:20 p.m., on Nov. 21, 2022, Kamloops RCMP frontline officers attended an apartment building parking lot on the 100-block of Tamarack Avenue to assist Kamloops Fire Rescue with a vehicle blaze that appeared suspicious in nature.
The fire involved a blue mini van and may have begun around 8:45 p.m. according to information obtained as part of the ongoing investigation,
said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. Two men were noted in the area around the time; one was described as shorter and bald in a white undershirt, the other as having a buzz cut, grey sweater, and facial hair.
