A Sunday morning report of a theft involving a firearm has one man facing robbery charges.

On Nov. 20, 2022, around 5:20 a.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers were called to a storefront on the 600-block of Seymour Street where a man allegedly stole items, then produced what appeared to be a firearm when confronted by staff.

Noel Albert Larkin, 26, of Kamloops, is charged with one count of robbery. He appeared in court yesterday and was remanded in custody until his next appearance, scheduled for Nov. 28.

Anyone who witnessed or has information related to this incident, but has not yet spoken to police, is requested to please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2022-41495.
