RCMP looking for witnesses in hit-and-run incident

Prince George RCMP are looking to speak with any witnesses to a motor vehicle incident that occurred on February 21, 2024. The collision occurred just before 7:00 a.m. on the Hart Highway near Bellamy Road, when a vehicle travelling north bound crossed the centre lane and collided with a vehicle driving south bound. The north bound vehicle did not stop after the collision.

We are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dash camera or video surveillance capturing the suspect vehicle. If you have any information on this investigation, please contact an investigator by calling the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

The driver in the south bound vehicle did not suffer serious injury from the collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
