File # 2024-2898, 2024-2906

Prince George RCMP’s Investigative Services Team is looking for information on two drive-by shootings that occurred on January 28, 2024.

The first shooting occurred on the 7700-block of Kingsley Crescent, shortly after midnight. Neighbours called police to report they heard gunshots and a car driving away at high speed. Police officers attended the residence to find it was empty at the time of the incident.

The second shooting happened several hours later at approximately 3:00 a.m., on the 7100-block of Eugene Road. Two people were in the residence at the time of the incident, but were unharmed.

Police officers are asking for anyone that was in the area at the time of either shooting that may have video surveillance or dash camera footage or have witnessed anything suspicious to please contact investigators by calling the non-emergency line. Police are looking for any information that will push these investigations forward. This level of wanton violence is concerning to police as it can put the safety of innocent people at risk, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Mounties are encouraging residents to report suspicious behaviour in their neighbourhoods, as it may help prevent a crime.

Consider registering your home or business surveillance system with the City of Prince George’s CCTV registry. For more information, visit the City of Prince George website at www.princegeorge.ca/cctv (English only).
