Two vehicle crash claims one life

On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 2:59 pm, Chetwynd RCMP were called to the scene of a two vehicle crash.
The collision, involving a semi and a passenger car, had occurred on highway 29 near Nicholson Road. The driver, and only occupant of the Chrysler was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the semi did not appear to be injured.
The investigation is ongoing and while casual factors are being determined, it was reported that the roads in the area were slippery.
