Police looking for suspect in assault, theft report

If you know this woman, please call police – she’s a suspect in an ongoing investigation.

On May 1, 2024, Kamloops RCMP Detachment responded to a commercial location on the 1800-block of Tranquille Road, where a store employee had allegedly been assaulted while confronting a theft suspect.

Police are releasing images of the woman in an attempt to identify her as part of the investigation, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.

The woman is described as:

Caucasian
approximately 40 years old
shoulder length black hair
medium build
wearing a purple track suit
