Sidney North Saanich RCMP received three cougar sighting reports in the morning of September 12, 2011. At approximately 10:00 am a resident in the Greenpark Drive area in North Saanich reported a cougar sighting in that area. In that case the cougar had killed a rabbit which was left behind when the cougar ran off. A second cougar was sighted in the Glen Meadows and Pauquachin First Nation area early this morning. At approximately 11:15am a cougar was observed near the Ardmore Golf course and is possibly the same cougar seen in this area earlier in the morning.
